Today’s been short seeing as how I’m uber-lazy at the moment. Oh I checked on a couple of apartments by phone (one will be available for viewing on Monday) and tended to my one quick job of the day (not an escort job, mind you), but it’s been pretty slow around here. Enjoyed a leisurely lunch at a local bistro earlier and now I’m relaxing with a beer and a cigarette. What would life be like without recreational drugs? *shudders*
I’m expected at the bar in an hour and a half. Just finished replying to an email from Dad and another from a galpal. Waiting for another galpal to return my call while listening to public television. Slow and easy. Tomorrow I have a couple of appointments but all will be quick. No escort appointments currently in sight though they tend to pop up as short-notice surprises. That barpal seems to still be weirded out over my hormonal fit the other day, so apparently he needs more time to get over it. Hehe Sorry but I can’t help him with that. It happens when you least expect it, what can I say? Personally, I think he’s lucky that it was as mild as it was, but I can see where it might unnerve a man. Ah well…he’ll walk it off. Most of the time I’m pretty cool but every so often my head spins. lol You try taking hormonal birth control and having your body manufacture even more and see what you don’t become.
Some men are so sensitive. It’s not as if I cursed him or got physical or loud. I was just bitchy. As much crap as I take off other people, sometimes bar folks can take some from me. hehe If that’s all it takes to spook him then he probably wouldn’t have lasted long as a buddy anyway.
So tonight I’m going out with another lad, a Mexican man whom I’ve gone out with a few times already. His English isn’t so good but he’s asked me to help with that. He has the irritating habit of calling too frequently, which I spoke to him about earlier, but he’s harmless. Just lonely is all, being up here and not speaking the native language well. So he’ll accompany to my local tavern this evening to get us both up out of the house.
The album of the week for my car is courtesy of the Doobie Brothers. “Without love, where would you be now?” keeps running through my head. Time for some new tunes.
